Information on Train Derailment

A train derailment at the Canadian Pacific Rail line in Waldof, west of Dryden is under investigation.
Spokesperson Michael LoVecchio says 11-cars from an eastbound grain train left the tracks Monday morning.
LoVecchio stresses there were no injuries and no environmental hazards.
He notes clean-up efforts are underway.
He stresses the clean-up will take longer then usual because of the winter storm that is battering our area.
The derailment is blocking the crossing at South Waldof.
Motorists can use Andy Meyers Road as an alternative.
