Public elementary teachers across the province continue to lobby for a new contract.
An information picket was set up the at the Government building in Dryden on Friday.
Union officials says their members are angry with the status of talks and they are hoping to get public support.
Spokesperson Anne Saltel also a lot more attention was brought to the issue after teachers began to refrain from extra-curricular activities.
Saltel stresses the picket wasn’t aimed at talks at a local level.
She notes they are meeting with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board and notes everything is going fine.
Saltel says both sides are addressing the issues.
