A grassroots movement is underway to build a new Community Centre in Dryden.
A volunteer group is hoping to see the dream become a reality but is looking for public feedback and support.
A Town Hall Meeting is planned for Saturday, February 15th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the Fairground complex.
Officials will be on hand to share their vision and answer any questions.
The proposed facility would include a hard floor arena, a turf soccer field, a walking-running track, a Seniors’ lounge, a Youth lounge, child care centre, gift shop, restaurant/patio, auditorium and bingo hall, Ninja Challenge campus, rock climbing wall, Peg Board, gender friendly washrooms, zip line, hot tubs, sauna as well as meeting rooms.
The potential site for the Sunset Country Community Centre is on Wice Avenue beside New Prospect School.
