Inquest Delayed

The Regional Supervising Coroner says they can’t move forward with an inquest into the deaths of 7 First Nation teens until they have discussions with their stakeholders on a couple of important issues.
Dr. Michael Wilson says they have to find solutions to timing and a lack of aboriginal representation on jury rolls.
Wilson says the recent decision to put Sheldon Wabason’s murder trial on hold because of a lack of First Nation jurors could potentially be relevant to their inquest.
