The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters has set up
Invasive Species Hit Squads across the province.
The squads are made up of post secondary school students
who educate communities in invasive species prevention.
Hayley Anderson is based in Kenora and says a number of
invasive species are creeping into Northwestern Ontario.
Anderson says a Round Goby was spotted on Shoal Lake.
Q:”…that.” 22 seconds
Anderson suggests Round Gobies could be transported into
the region as bait.
