Irene Groves

In loving memory of Irene Groves who passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the age of 59 years. Irene will be sadly missed by her father Alvin Thompson, her loving husband Dan Groves, her sons Chris and his wife Melany, and Jason and his partner Claire, her foster son Ian and her grandsons Carter, Forrest and Keenan, and her nieces and nephews. Irene will also be sadly missed by her sisters Beverley and her husband Gerry Levac of Hamilton, Wendy LaMarche of Cochrane, Alberta, and Donna Gushulak and her husband Dennis of Ear Falls. Irene was a foster mother to many children over the years and will be remembered by many for her giving and caring spirit. A funeral service for Irene Groves will be held on Saturday, May 29th at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Church with Rev. John-Mark Morley officiating. Cremation will follow the service and interment will be held at a later date. Visitation for Irene Groves will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Stevens Funeral Homes “Moffat Chapel.” If friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association may be made through the Stevens Funeral Homes “Moffat Chapel” P.O.
