In Loving Memory of Iris Appleby. Born on April 10, 1937 at Curve Lake First Nation, County of Peterborough Ontario, Iris resided in Eastern Ontario for a period of years. On September 19th, 1964 she married her husband Wayne in Bellville Ontario. Together they had four children Rhea, Rick, Sherry and Dwayne. Her family being her main interest, she still found time for leisure activities. Many hours were spent in the outdoors, fishing and enjoying nature. Volunteering for the Royal Canadian Legion and her involvement in the Mooselodge were important to her. Other hobbies such as gardening, traveling, and local meat draws for the legion and moose lodge occupied some of her time as well. Most important was precious time spent with both grand children and great grand children. Iris passed away December 10, 2002, at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. She is survived by her husband Wayne; children Rhea (Doug) Tousant of Cardinal, ON; Rick (Marion) Appleby of Calgary, Alberta; Sherry Appleby (Lawrence Wall) of Dryden and Dwayne Appleby of Dryden.
