Iron Rangers Introduce New Head Coach/GM

The Minnesota Iron Rangers have a new head coach and general manager.

The SIJHL club is welcoming Jesse Davis to the fold.

The native of Detroit has more than 16 years’ experience as a coach or GM.

Before making the move to Hoyt Lakes, Davis served as head coach/GM of the Breckenridge Bucks of the Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League.

Davis also spent five seasons in the United States Hockey League with the Bloomington Thunder and Fargo Force.

He also worked with several North American Hockey League teams.

Davis says he’s looking forward to the strong relationship between the community and the team.

He adds his main goal is establishing a winning product on the ice, giving back to the community, and help create opportunities for their players to achieve their goals of playing college hockey and beyond.

Davis has coached over 30 NHL draft picks and more than 70 NCAA Division one college players.
