Time for ‘Back To School’ and time for many parents to say……’Wait!! Just let me take one more picture before you leave me for the day!’
That moment captured forever.
And if you’re really lucky (or not so lucky) when you head off to college that one picture taken that will haunt you for eternity. It’s not and wasn’t that bad was it?!?
Here is that one picture that haunts me from (way back) when my parents dropped me off to attend college in Thunder Bay. They bought me my first bag of groceries and made me stand outside the college residence with the bag while they took a picture. The doom and gloom of the low quality picture just adds to my mood at the time. Looked like I was headed off to jail or about to be put in lockdown at some institution! After the picture I quickly asked my parents to leave to save me further embarrassment. I think they cried a little bit as they waved goodbye. I definately cried as they left because I looked in the bag and……there was no Doritos. 😉
