I’ve Been ‘Juiced’

I’m sure you’ve had this experience…..

It was a nice quiet Monday evening drive on Highway 17 yesterday. The beautiful scenery of Sunset Country. Peace and tranquility.

Short lived as the humming of my truck engine, rumbling down 17, is interrupted by what sounds like someone using a paintball device and my vehicle is the target.

‘Splat!’ ‘Splat, splat!! Splat…..’

I’ve been hit – countless times! What do I do?!? No chance to take cover.

I’ve been ‘juiced’!!! Bug juiced.

Not much I can do at this point so I carry on as the bug ‘juice’ continues to build on the targeted front of the truck. Yes it can be disgusting especially with the bigger ones ending their lifespan in an almost ‘kamikaze-style’ form.

By the time I got back home last night the ‘bug-juice’ was more like ‘bug super glue’ on the windshield and front of the truck. A simple turn-on of the windshield wipers and washer fluid barely had an effect on the so-called bug super glue.

So here’s the question. How do you get the bug stuff off of your vehicle? Do you have a secret solution as the solution? I hate to ‘bug’ you….but what’s your answer?

Post them here:
