Jack-Knifed Transport Causing Disruptions At Ontario-Manitoba Boundary

Some pretty slick conditions across the region Tuesday morning.

Snow and blowing snow are causing headaches.

There are conflicting reports on a road closure on Highway 1 near the Manitoba-Ontario boundary.

A jack-knifed transport is blocking the westbound lane.

Traffic is being stopped, however other reports have come in that vehicles are being periodically allowed through.

You can expect delays no matter what and extreme caution is urged.

In the meantime, traffic is moving once again on the Trans-Canada between Upsala and Raith.

A section of Highway 17 was closed yesterday afternoon and didn’t re-open until around 10:00 last night due to high water and a road washout.
