John Maggrah

In loving memory of John Henry Maggrah of Wabigoon, who passed away on January 31, 2014 with his family at his side.

John was born February 16, 1925 in Wakaw Saskatchewan. His family moved to Wabigoon in 1938.

For the past 12 years as his health declined, John was lovingly cared for by his daughter Carol and son-in-law Lloyd McFadden of Wabigoon.

He is survived by his children; David (Roxy) Maggrah of Milk River, AB, Bradley (Kathy) Maggrah of Wabigoon, Carol (Lloyd) McFadden, of Wabigoon, Arlene (Lloyd) Williams of Wabigoon, Terri (Ed) Gibbins of Wabigoon. Special daughter-in-law Elona Maggrah of Tabor, AB, sidekick Andy of Wabigoon, 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Hawaii. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Millie on August 7th, 1992.

His children will gather together privately to say goodbye to their dad.

A Memorial Service and interment of ashes will be held in the summer, so his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren can safely travel to say goodbye to Grandpa.

If friends so desire, donation may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church in Wabigoon through the Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
