There has been no change in the status of the Grand Chief of Treaty #3.
The Executive Council met yesterday and it was agreed that if there are any questions about the leadership of Leon Jourdain, they should be raised at the National Council Assembly.
Director of Operations Reid Thompson says the Assembly has the right to review the leadership of the Grand Chief.
The National Council meeting is slated for the middle of April.
Jourdain was charged last week with sexual assault.
