In loving memory of Joyce Marie “Yerxa” Cantin, who passed away on Saturday June 4th, 2011 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
Joyce is survived by her children; Bert of Kenora, Robert (Mary) of Sioux Lookout, Roberta (James Carroll) of Kenora, Becky, of Dryden, daughter Birdie Jr. of Dryden, Shaun, grandchildren; Robert Jr.Cantin, Jennifer Tinney, Freddie Sky, Sha-Sha, Kyle, Quinton, Braeden and Noah: great-grandchildren Tyrus, Kailee and Ceaser. She is also survived by her brothers Willie (Florence) Yerxa of Couchiniching First Nation, Wayne Yerxa, of Couchiniching First Nation, Leo Yerxa of Ottawa and sister Marilyn of Couchiniching First Nation. She is predeceased by her husband Birdie Cantin Sr., parents Robert & Frances Yerxa, brother Robert Jr., sisters; Beatrice, Florence, Dorothy and granddaughter Kailee Cantin.
Visitation will be held Wednesday June 8th, 2011 from 10:00 am until time of Service, at the Wabigoon First Nation School gymnasium.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 9th, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Wabigoon First Nation School gymnasium with Elder Robert Kelly and John Cofield officiating.
Interment to follow in the Wabigoon First Nation Cemetery.
