54 kids took part in the 2006 Junior Walleye Masters tournament at Government Dock today, bringing in 15 fish (8 Northern, 4 walleye, and 3 perch), 1 clam, and 1 old broken pail.
The largest fish caught was a 29 inch Northern, brought up by Thomas Cooper, on his very first cast of the day.
Every child who took part in today’s tournament took home a prize courtesy of sponsors Canadian Tire, KA Sports and Tackle, and Andre Tardiff Agencies Ltd.
