Judge Rules on MNO Side

Members of the Metis Nation of Ontario are celebrating after a judge
ruled in their favour in a hunting and fishing rights case.
The judge stayed charges against 3 Metis men from French River who were
charged by the Ministry of Natural Resources despite having valid harvesting
cards.
The cards were part of an agreement the Metis signed with the province
three years ago covering who is eligible to hunt and fish in traditional
areas.
