Judy is also survived by her step family in Kenora and our West: her dear friends, Leena, Lenore, Adeline, Wendy and Joyce. She will be missed by her niece Terri (Ian) Hamilton, nephews; Sam (Paula) Johnson, and Russ (Lindsey) Johnson.
She was predeceased by her father Henry and her brother and sister-in-law Reg & Delia Johnson.
Those that had the pleasure of knowing Judy knew what she adored. First, all her grandchildren. She had a special relationship with each one of them. Each of her grandchildren have distinct memories tailored by their grandmother just for them. Her memory will be cherished by all of them.
Her other love was her gardens and flowers. Judy crafted in the winter months and could not wait until Spring, to spend endless hours outside. Along with Ernie, they worked together building and beautifying their home. If you visited you would surely be taken on a tour of her yard to see their garden & landscaping projects. Her other interests were playing cards, dancing and visiting with friends at the monthly potlucks.
At Judy’s request there will be no Visitation as cremation has taken place.
A private family Service will be held on Tuesday March 2nd, 2010, at 1:00 pm at the Dryden Community Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment of ashes at a later date.
