Canada celebrates its 140th birthday Sunday.
Activities are planned across Northwestern Ontario including Dryden.
The Canada Day parade will start at the Moose Hall at 11 with opening
ceremonies at Cooper Park at 12:15.
Fireworks will be launched from Flatrock at dusk.
In Red Lake, a bike decorating contest, kite contest and beach
volleyball tournament highlight activities.
In Ear Falls, a cake cutting ceremony is set for 4:30 with fireworks at
dusk.
In Wabigoon, the day starts at 8 with a pancake breakfast.
