Surprise, Surprise!
The month of July was hot and dry across Northwestern Ontario.
Environment Canada says Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Kenora enjoyed their
warmest July since 2002, as the average temperature hovered around 21
degrees.
The statistic that jumps out is the lack of rainfaill as Dryden only
saw 47 millimetres of precipitation, 52-millimetres below the normal mark.
In Kenora, it was the driest July since 1985.
