The first High School tournament is in the books for the Dryden Eagle Junior Boys Volleyball team.
The Eagles were split in two for a weekend tournament in Kenora.
The Blue team advanced to the championship side but didn’t make the final.
Coach Paul Darling says they received strong play from Brady Desserre, Brodie Church, Matt Wood and Kevin Woolfrey.
Dryden’s gold team made it to the Consolation side, but lost in the Final in 5 sets against Fort Frances.
Darling says the Junior team looks strong.
The regular season opens Wednesday at home against Beaver Brae.
