“Justice For Colten” Rallying Cry At March In Kenora

“Justice for Colten”.

That was the message delivered at a rally in Kenora Monday, over the not-guilty verdict in the Colten Boushie murder trial in Saskatchewan.

Dozens of people braved bitterly cold conditions.

Sherry Copenace was one of the speakers and stressed that it’s time to speak up for justice for Indigenous people, especially youth.

She added that “silence means agreement”.

A similar rally is being held in Sioux Lookout Wednesday on Front Street.
