Prime Minister Trudeau is following the lead of prime ministers before him and keeping out of American politics.
In Washington yesterday Trudeau avoided getting involved in the debate over Republican hopefuls Donald Trump, Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio.
He says the friendship between our two countries goes beyond any two individuals or any ideologies.
Trudeau said earlier this week, he doesn’t want to pick a fight with Donald Trump.
