Kam River Extends First Place Lead

Kam River broke open a tight game in the third period with two goals en route to a 5-2 win over visiting Fort Frances Wednesday night.

Alex Enegren and Mackenzie Sedgwick recorded the deciding goals.

The Fighting Walleye outshot the Lakers 38-29.

Kam River has now won seven in a row.

The win puts the Fighting Walleye six points up on the second place Dryden GM Ice Dogs and seven ahead of Red Lake in the SIJHL standings.
