Kenora will be a no-show at the Kenora District Municipal Association Conference.
The 67th KDMA gathering is being held in Sioux Lookout starting today.
No Kenora delegates will be attending the three days of meetings or submitting resolutions forthe upcoming Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association meetings.
President Garry Parkes says the City isn’t taking part in the conference because they didn’t back the regional common voice initiative.
This year’s theme is “Working Together to Make a Stronger Voice.”
