KDMA Delegates Approve Resolutions

The Kenora District Municipal Association has approved two major resolutions.
Local leaders are calling for the expansion of cell phone service into smaller communities such as Pickle Lake.
The double-laning of Highway 17 in Northwestern Ontario has also been deemed a major priority.
Both resolutions will be passed along to the Federal and Provincial Governments.
They were approved at last weekend’s KDMA Conference in Red Lake.
