Kenora is not a member in good standing with the Kenora District Municipal Association.
KDMA has sent the City a letter regarding their annual dues and an increase in the fee.
Council hasn’t paid their share, but C.A.O. Bill Preisentanz says they still have an option to put aside money for their dues.
Kenora may consider paying their dues, if they feel the region’s common voice initiative provides proper consultation with First Nations.
