KDSB Approves Budget

The Kenora District Services Board has approved the 2007 budget and
area municipalities will be paying nearly $100,000 less
compared to last year.
CAO Sten Lif says the budget sets aside $39-million for social
housing, ontario works, land ambulance and child care services.
The KDSB has set the capital budget at $2.7-million for several
projects, mainly involving the City of Kenora.
