KDSB back in Contract talks with Paramedics

Contract talks are slated for next month between the Kenora District
Services Board & CUPE for land ambulance workers.
If you thought this sounds familiar, that is likely because the
arbitrator only handed down a decision in October for a 3 year contract
retroactive to September 2001 which expired 3 months ago!
The $1.1 million awarded cost area municipalities dearly & officials
hope to avoid a drawn out negotiation this time round.
