With little debate in the open meeting Thursday, the Kenora District
Services Board approved the 2008-2009 budget of $39.9-million.
The Municipal levy is going up 2.5%, with Kenora now required to
pay $33,000 more from last year.
Finance Chair Anne Krassilowsky says a minimal increase was needed to
enhance services.
