KDSB CAO Named To Provincial Task Force

The Kenora district will have some representation on a new provincial committee formed to address homelessness, poverty and affordable housing.
Services Board Chief Administrative Officer Henry Wall has been selected to sit on the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Affordable Housing and Homelessness Task Force.
Wall calls it a very exciting opportunity.
The group will develop strategies and policies for provincial government consideration and Wall says having a local voice at the table will help the needs of northern Ontario.
Wall says they will also inform AMO on government plans to tackle ongoing issues.
There are only two representatives from northern Ontario on the Task Force.
