The Kenora District Services Board has approved funding under the National Child Benefit program.
The Dryden Mayor’s Committee for Children and Youth is getting more than 30-thousand dollars to help kids from low-income families play sports and participate in other social events.
The P.R.O. Kids initiative in Sioux Lookout is accepting nearly 12-grand.
The Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre is getting 6-grand, while the Mary Berglund Clinic will see 55-hundred dollars for various programs.
The KDSB is leaving 50-grand available for its Ontario Works Backpack program.
