KDSB Hoping To Work With New Government

Access to jobs, readily available support services and an increase in affordable housing is what we need to improve the health of our families.

Henry Wall is the Chief Administrative Officer with the Kenora District Services Board and he is hoping to work with the new PC government on prevention strategies to deal with these issues.

Wall notes we have spent the past few years responding to a health care crisis and not on prevention and finding the root cause to the problem.

Wall says they need to ensure that local families have an income that they can actually raise a family on.

Wall adds the priority needs to be centred on income security, access to jobs as well as access to a high school education.
