KDSB Introduces Draft Budget

Area Municipalities will be faced with a 1.43% increase in their local share for social services.
The Kenora District Services Board has completed a draft $42-million budget for 2009.
CAO Sten Lif says they are looking for an additional $192,000 in revenue.
The budget includes money for a new Ambulance Base in Sioux Lookout and Kenora as well as funding for Social Housing.
The financial document will be voted on November 20th.
