The Kenora District Services Board is looking ahead.
Chief Administrative Officer Henry Wall says they are moving forward with an aggressive plan with the approval of next years budget.
The KDSB plans to invest 130-thousand dollars in local programs that will support child poverty reduction initiatives, as well as 1.97-million in its existing housing stock.
Other priorities include developing and constructing new Social and Affordable units and continuing with community outreach programs.
