The Kenora District Services Board is thanking educators and staff on this Child Care Workers and Early Childhood Appreciation Day.
The KDSB says area staff demonstrated tireless teamwork, flexibility, and compassion to achieve the tremendous task of bringing emergency child care to essential workers during the early months impacted by COVID-19.
Officials add child care operators continue to work hard to ensure that children and families continue to receive accessible, safe, and quality services.
Chief Administrative Officer Henry Wall says its been truly humbling to support the sector as they endlessly dedicate and commit themselves to providing safe and quality care to children and families during very challenging and uncertain times.
Wall stresses their effort on this day and every day doesn’t go unnoticed.
