KDSB Pleased with 50-50 Funding Agreement

The Kenora District Services Board says the Provincial Government
appears ready to properly fund land ambulance service in the Region.
CAO Sten Lif says they expect to achieve 50-50 funding in the next
couple of months.
However, Lif says the Liberals are not funding First Nation service on a per
call basis and notes the money the Government is offering will not cover
100% of the costs.
