The Kenora District Services Board says it will be very difficult to
meet a request of a zero-percent increase to the municipal levy.
Chief Administrative Officer Sten Lif says cuts may need to be made
after the 2006 budget was defeated.
Lif says they continue to be burdened by uncontrolled costs.

for available funds, while Municipal Councils will look at the figures in
hopes of reaching a compromise.
