KDSB Reacts to Budget

The Chief Administrative Officer of the Kenora District Services
Board says they have little room to move.
Reacting to the defeated budget, Sten Lif says they have been
hand-cuffed by increased costs for Ontario Works, disability support and
other programs.

Lif adds they are also waiting for the Provincial Government to
release 50-50 funding for land ambulance services.
The KDSB Finance Committee and Municipal reps will take another look
at the figures in hopes of reaching a compromise before March 10th.
