KDSB takes over a child care service in Sioux Lookout

The Kenora District Services Board will be taking over a child care service in Sioux Lookout next month.

The KDSB says it will be operating child care spaces at 54 Princess Street as of September 1st.

Currently its being run by the Waninawakang Child Care Center.

The Services Board says there will be no disruption for families currently using child care there.

The KDSB says it will also be recruiting child care staff in order to offer infant and toddler spaces.

In all, it hopes to be able to offer 40 child care spaces in Sioux Lookout.

That includes 9 infant, 15 toddler and 16 preschool spaces.
