The Chief Administrative Officer of the Kenora District Services
Board says they have little room to move.
Reacting to the defeated budget, Sten Lif says they have been
hand-cuffed by increased costs for Ontario Works, disability support and
other programs.
Lif adds they are also waiting for the Provincial Government to
release 50-50 funding for land ambulance services.
The KDSB Finance Committee and Municipal reps will take another look
at the figures in hopes of reaching a compromise before March 10th.
