The end of 2004 will be a financially good one for Child Care facilities in the region.
The Kenora District Services Board has announced 1 time funding grants for several including Dryden’s Childrens Resource Center which is getting a cheque for $37,000, while another 3,000 will go to the Nursery School.
Also receiving money will be the Ear Falls Nursery, & Sioux Lookout Family Resource Center.
Breakfast programs @ Queen Elizabeth School in Sioux Lookout as well as ones at Hudson Public & Sioux Mountain will see funding from the National Child Benefit Program while the Mayors Committee for Children & Youth in Dryden is getting $25,000 for its programs.
