Keep FedNor in Northern Hands

The NDP will unveil legislation Monday aimed at keeping FedNor funding
strictly for Northern Ontario.
Sault Ste. Marie MP Tony Martin says his private members bill aims to
make FedNor into a fully independent regional development agency.
The legislation would also ensure the Government’s definition of the
North doesn’t include parts of Eastern and Southern Ontario.
