Lac Seul Police have charged a 43 year old Kejick Bay resident after a vehicle drove off a road in Frenchman’s Head.
An off-duty officer spotted the vehicle early morning October 16 and approached to check on the driver.
The individual wasn’t injured but found impaired by alcohol.
An investigation further revealed the vehicle was stolen.
Police say Antoinette “Robin” Ningewance faces a total of three charges.
1. Operation while Impaired by Alcohol- 320.14(1)(a) CC
2. Operation while Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus) – 320.14(1)(b) CC
3. Possession of Stolen Property- 354(1)(a) CC
