In loving memory of Kenneth John Morrow, beloved husband of Donna and father of children Sheree (Jeff) of Winnipeg and Ian (Alicia) of Thunder Bay, passed away at the Dryden Regional Health Centre with his family at his side on Thursday October 7, 2010
Ken was born in Errington Township April 2, 1949 to Courtland and Iva Morrow. Predeceased by his father Courtland Morrow, his mother and stepfather Iva and Denys Bull. his sisters Shirley Morrow, Marie Bull, Lola McCaig and Grace Bull, his brother Alfred Bull, and brother-in-law Rick Cavner.
Ken is survived by his brothers Frank Morrow (Dorothy) of Qualicum Beach, B.C., Tom Bull (Joan) of Geraldton, Bob Bull of Elliot Lake, Sisters Hilda MacPherson (Jim) of Kamloops, Mable Cannon and Vivian (Bruce) Hyde of Spruce Grove, Marlyn Morin (Rocky) of Hinton, Anne McKenzie (Gordon) of Thunder Bay.
Ken is also survived by his mother-in-law Peggy Cavner of Thunder Bay, brothers’ in law and sisters in law David Cavner (Carrie) of Thunder Bay, Karen Koroscil (Dan) of Belleville and Barbara (Lorne) of Fort Saskatchewan and Jim McCaig of South River. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.
Ken’s greatest wish was to live long enough to raise his children. He fought his illness for 30 years, surprising his family, friends and doctors. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, volunteering with different organizations, working on his computer and listening to music.
We thank God for giving him this time with us, he will be truly missed.
There will be no Visitation as cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Dryden Community Funeral Home at 2 pm on October 22. 2010 with Archdeacon Patricia Cleghorn officiating. Internment will be at a later date.
