According to the most recent OPP statistics, traffic related charges in the Kenora area are way down this year.
Speeding, impaired driving and distracted driving offenses have all decreased.
Inspector Dave Lucas doesn’t think the data tells the whole story and suggests the decrease in the number of charges have more to do with reduced traffic enforcement than improved driving habits.
