Kenora By Pass #2

The month of June ushers in construction season on

Highway 17.

Pioneer Construction is working on a 11 million dollar

rehabilitation project on the Kenora By Pass.

MTO Spokesperson Dave Mccoll says motorists have been

experiencing 15 to 20 minute delays where there is

blasting.

Mccoll hopes the entire project will be finished by

August.

Pioneer Construction is widening intersections to better

accommodate large vehicles, improving sight lines,

lighting and culverts.
