A group of dedicated Kenora Police Service supporters
took to the streets of Kenora Wednesday, to protest
Council’s decision to disband the municipal force.
Organizer Leanne Carver says they won’t give up their
fight for the local police service, and want Council to
reverse their decision.

thrilled with the public’s support.

Almost a hundred people braved severe temperatures and
marched from the local police detachment to the steps of
City Hall.
