Kenora Daily Miner Charged

The editor and the publisher of the Kenora Daily Miner and News have been charged.
After a lengthy investigation, the OPP laid the charges after receiving a complaint that the newspaper had published a photograph of a youth who was charged with a criminal offense.
Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, its illegal to publish anything that might lead to the identity of a young offender.
Lloyd Mack and Mitch Wolfe have been charged.
They are due to appear in Kenora Court on November 9th.
