The City of Kenora has to work harder to attract new doctors to the community.
That’s the recommendation from the city’s medical staff.
Dr. Jillie Retson says they’d like to copy what Dryden is doing, and hire a community physician recruiter.
Retson stresses it doesn’t have to be a full time position, noting the recruiter in Dryden wears several hats.
Kenora used to have a Medical Professional Recruitment Committee, but Retson says unfortunately it was disbanded.
