Kenora Man Arrested For Careless Use Of A Firearm

A 63-year-old man faces a total of six charges in connection to a shooting incident in Kenora.

Shortly before noon on Friday, Provincial Police say several shots were heard in the Kirkpatrick Avenue area.

One person was taken into custody and an Emergency Response Team and a K-9 Unit were also dispatched as a precaution.

OPP say Donald Triskle of Kenora has been charged with careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and discharging a firearm in a reckless manner.

No one was injured.
